30-Minute Shrimp Stir Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hone y
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarc h
  • 2 green onions , sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Whisk soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and cornstarch in a small bowl to create the sauce.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque then remove and set aside.
  4. Add broccoli and bell pepper to the same skillet and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Stir in ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture.
  7. Toss constantly for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats all ingredients.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
