Banana Cacao Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large frozen banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Method
 

  1. Place the frozen banana slices, almond milk, cacao powder, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt into a high-speed blender container.
  2. Secure the lid and blend on the lowest setting, slowly increasing to the highest speed.
  3. Process for 45 to 60 seconds or until the mixture is completely smooth and homogeneous.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a chilled glass and serve immediately.
